- 5.8 Ghz FPV system.
- Lightweight transmitter with built in FPV monitor.

- GPS position hold and barometer altitude hold modes.
- Follow me mode that automatically points the camera toward you and follows your movements.

- Return to home/landing.
- Large battery that provides plenty (about 20 minutes) of flight time.

Con's
- Altitude can vary (drop) as the speed of the quadcopter increases, or with wind. This is caused by static air pressure drop to the altitude hold barometer from quadcopter movement (or wind). Additionally, the quadcopter can not automatically detect objects in its flight path. Review Hubsan H501S X4 A Fun Flight With Onboard Footage - Hubsan H501S X4 FPV Brushless

Hubsan H501S X4 is a cheap drone that has good quality, and many very useful features.This a Fun Flight With Onboard Footage with my Hubsan H501S X4 GPS FPV Drone Quadcopter Advanced Version.

It has a 1080p HD Camera that performs reasonably well in brightly lit conditions and I demonstrate the camera's capabilities in this video in free flight without any GPS function aid in some choppy wind.

The camera is way better than the one that comes with the Hubsan H502S X4 Desire GPS FPV Drone and is pretty close for its size to the quality of the Hubsan X4 Pro H109S GPS FPV Drone HD Camera.

Review Notes for the Hubsan H501S Advanced Edition:

Pros:
- Easy to set-up and fly
- Smooth & fun flight characteristics
- GPS mode
- Follow Me function
- 1080p HD Camera

Cons:
- Eats radio batteries very quickly
- On board video could be a little better quality but it is still light years ahead of the H502S X4 Desire

In theory, this might be an inexpensive alternative to the DJI Mavic Pro Quadcopter, if you don't need 4K video or the highest quality HD video.

Hubsan H501S X4 is a cheap drone that has good quality, and many very useful features.This is the Maiden Flight & Camera Test for the Hubsan H501S X4 GPS FPV Drone Quadcopter Advanced Version.

It has a 1080p HD Camera that I test thoroughly in a variety of lighting conditions that really pushed it to its limits. I test the GPS function, fly it fairly high, and use the Return to Home Function twice.

The camera is way better than the one that comes with the Hubsan H502S X4 Desire GPS FPV Drone and is pretty close for its size to the quality of the Hubsan X4 Pro H109S GPS FPV Drone HD Camera.

In this video, the aerial video was shot in my hometown Bintangor, Sarawak, Malaysia with my Hubsan H501S mounted with Xiaomi Yi Action Camera dated on 2016.01.24. I felt a little bit sad because the video's bgm music has been muted due to the copyrighted audio track. Nevermind, you can still watch the video with bgm music here : http://po.st/BHN4Fs . Currently, i'm using the Hubsan H501S firmware version v1.2.1 which i strongly recommended to everyone because it can fly very stable and no need to do the calibration because it will automatically do by itself if comparing to the other firmware version. Review Hubsan H501S X4 Maiden Flight & GPS Test - Hubsan X4 Pro H109S Real Time FPV Drone with GPS

Hubsan H501S X4 is a cheap drone that has good quality, and many very useful features.This is my Maiden Flight and GPS Test for the new Hubsan X4 Pro H109S Real Time FPV Drone with GPS in some strong wind!

I was very impressed how well it flew and I experienced no issues the altitude hold or GPS I tested. I also took it up really high to test its range and I experienced no issues there The only problem I had was not turning on the record feature on the camera to capture what I saw when I took it way up in the sky.

When I compare its flight characteristics to that of my Blade 350 QX3, i put this one on par or better than that quadcopter. It is just more solid in the air and to the touch. It also is bigger with beter quality parts and has an FPV HD Camera.
